Telescope Bridge demonstration video
This short demonstration video shows the Telescope bridge working with telescopes that have an RS232 port, and Sky Safari. Check your telescopes compatibility to see if the Telescope Bridge will work.
Use this mode to connect your telescope to popular apps such as Sky Safari. The Telescope Bridge will create it's own Wifi network so you can connect to it. The display will show you all the information you need to enter in your app to connect.
Just like the access point mode, the telescope bridge can also connect to your home network via your router. To do this the Telescope Bridge will create a portal you can access on your phone or tablet to configure your wifi settings. Once this is done it will be remembered.
You can use Bluetooth mode if you want. Just select this setting and the telescope bridge will create a Bluetooth device you can connect to. The screen will show you the device name and connection status.
The telescope Bridge can be used as a USB serial port connection, great for Stellarum and other great PC/MAC based programs. Features the newer USB-C connection. Just plug and go! You will also need to power the bridge via USB - power bank or computer.
Featres a standard 9 pin DB9 Female port, ready to connect to your telescope's RS232 lead.
Note the lead is not supplied with this unit.
Telescope Bridge can be updated over the air. No more having to use a program or app to update your device. Just enter the update mode and it will all happen automatically. Futreproof!
